Life

I'll Be frank
all the days and weeks are blurring together so much lately

I find Joy sometimes, it's there. lately it's been harder to find but it's there when I look for it
The mission has been great, I've learned a lot and still have time to learn some more
things that are easy aren't worth much
so yeah it's been hard
and trying on ALL fronts
but I keep going
keep trying to smile though the harder days
and enjoy the good ones to the fullest
preparing for life

Love you all

"The only thing constant in this world is Change"

SO like every other missionary in the whole wide world we saw the broadcast this week and BOY have some changes came from up top
but really that was the cap-point of a pretty good week
so
let us begin

Thursday:
The Youngstown Elders (i.e.the ZL's) went on exchanges with us in our area. I went with Elder Vaughn, crazy to think we were in the MTC together many MANY moons ago. we had a good time finding and reminiscing as we are both reaching the close of our missions. we set a bunch of return appointments and even got to teach a guy named Eric who felt he was struggling to hold to faith and then lo and behold some Mormon elders knock on his door
coincidence? I THINK NOT
Oh and melissa dropped us :(
that was pretty much thursday

Friday:
we weekly planned, see every other description I've given to weekly planning
sums it up nicely
we saw Bro Gould and go to Pizza Joes so that was nice
and we saw sabbatha she's still doing great and the puppies have started getting big!
the Sane's had us for dinner so that was also pretty fun

Saturday:
We saw the Mcelroys and I got to help Bro. Mcelroy fix his tablet so I was happy as a clam
then we had a lunch with the Runyons a nice family that is kinda home-bound so we see them every once and awhile
we also met a really nice family that let us in and we got to teach them the restoration and we get to see them again this week
then we had dinner with the Bishop's family and finished off the day with Bro. Dougherty

Sunday:
We had Church, big shocker there XD
although these last few months church has been rather weird with Christmas and new years then having a snow cancel and stake conference it feels like I haven't even been the a whole block in a while, It was actually kinda nice
Then we saw Sister Vandyke and the other Elders met us at our apartment for monday's exchange

Monday:
We did some finding, all those appointments we set up on thursday flamed us and we saw Roy Rainbow again who is doing well we are working toward a temple date for him.
More finding with out a whole lot found :P

Tuesday:
The big one
The broadcast from the Missionary Department
It was really actually quite instructive on how the missionary department councils with one another
we also had some "minor" changes
First off
5 of the 9 of the key indicators have been completely dropped
like as in we don't track them at all anymore
which I think is kinda nice because the chosen indicators will hopefully focus us more on the goal of baptism not the goal of lessons

the second change came to daily schedule,
in a nutshell they moved planing to the AM and have given us way more latitude on comp study and other activities as well as
THEY HAVE GRACED US WITH 2 ADDITIONAL HOURS OF PREPARATION DAY!
so that's really nice
the change to Preperation day is because they want us to realize that as we go home we can stick to a shortened personal study each day and they really want us to establish those kinds of habits now :)

that's all for today folks
Thanks for reading
I'm off to play V-Ball with the Zone

PEACE
